School & Eco Council

At Burman we have an active School Council.

Children are selected from each Year Group and come to regular meetings.

We discuss matters important to school and the children, ranging from cloakroom tidiness to outdoor play equipment.

The School Council is also our ‘Eco’ Committee so we check that we are being as environmentally friendly as possible - checking our recycling bins are being used correctly and whiteboards are turned off when not in use to save valuable electricity.

Children feed back to their classes from the meetings to keep everyone in school updated.
